How do I calculate my net salary in Saudi Arabia?

Net salary = gross salary − GOSI (9.75% for Saudis, on basic + housing). There is no personal income tax in the Kingdom. Use the salary calculator for an exact figure in seconds.

Do expats and non-Saudis pay GOSI?

No. Pension and SANED contributions are not deducted from a non-Saudi employee's salary; they apply only to citizens. So an expat's net salary equals their full gross salary.

How much end-of-service benefit do I get if I resign?

What is the difference between private and government end-of-service pay?

Is there income tax on salaries in Saudi Arabia?

There is no personal income tax on salaries in the Kingdom. The only deduction for a Saudi employee is GOSI (9.75%). VAT applies to goods and services, not to your salary.

What are the new GOSI rates for 2025-2028?
